This device allows the practitioner to observe, in infrared, spontaneous nystagmus or any eye movements of a patient in complete darkness. It enables the observation of the smoothness of slow, rapid, or saccadic pursuits with the head both stationary and in motion. Additionally, it facilitates the easy visualization of nystagmus during the HST (Heat Shaking Test) or during pre- and post-rotatory movements, as well as all eye movements during walking. The built-in screen version enhances its usability at the patient’s bedside. The use of a VNG/VCOR system and a rotatory chair can complement this equipment for a more in-depth and recordable examination.
